Afternoon - post O courses, informal follow up was available. The pacing and compass game is a good tool to bring together
the concept of "pace" and "field bearings". Groups gathered to talk about O strategy, where and how do they improve from the
White level courses. Judging heights and distances was also on the agenda.
In the meantime - runners/hikers continue to
cross the finish line. The junior staff await the
end. 14 Troops participated, 58 scouts
finished, they logged 79:21:23 on the courses,
ran or hiked a total of 105.2km, climbed 2880m
and punched 452 controls.
Scouters were not counted in the Orienteering
course statistics.
